Dolls. As in "Valley of the..."
I have been a fan of Jonathan Adler since he was merely the significant other of one of my favorite people, Simon Doonan (great author, btw). Adler's designs are completely original and quirky -- perfect for my friends and I. Today, I was shopping for a birthday gift for one of my favorite people (close your eyes, B!) and I came across this.....
Okay, so it turns out that I was at work and I forgot B's address at home, therefore I was unable to purchase the originally intended item (which I will keep secret, since B is one of my two readers...:)) BUT I totally needed this teeny jar marked "Dolls" (and, fortunately, I knew my address). Not as anything other than as a fan of the best commercially successful novel of all time -- I thought it was a great homage as a bibliophile and a tongue-in-cheek sort of New Yorker. I have a strange mish-mash of candy jars on one table and this jar will certainly be a fine accompaniment to the others. Best of all, you do not have to be Anne Welles to afford it....

Okay so I peeked, but you pretty much begged me to, forbidding me, as if I have willpower! Luhuv it.
